Chocolate Yum Yums

Here is one that I made for you girls once, but improved it by changing quantities from my recipe book. It's quick, easy and yummy.

Ingredients:
300g chocolate
200g peanut butter
4 table spoons of honey
50g of butter

Melt all of these in a double boiler (glass bowl on top of a pan of boiling water) if the chocolate is chunky. Or, if not, then simply combine on low heat in a pan.
To this lovely mixture, you need to add the following:

200g broken up digestive biscuits
200g or as many nuts as you wish.

I used all the different kinds of nuts I had - pistachios, almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, pecans and walnuts.
To be honest, I hardly measured the amounts of nuts I used.
You need to mix everything very well and layer it out on a tray lined with greaseproof paper.
In order to have a professional finish, I melted some additional chocolate and poured a thin layer on top - hiding what is below, and put a nut in the centre of each piece that I planned to cut.

Looks good huh ;)

Finally, put the tray in the fridge for a few hours so it sets. Or in the freezer if you just can't wait that long.
Hint: The mixture can be very messy to cut into pieces once it solidifies. To avoid this, take it out before it sets and cut it into pieces. Put it back into the fridge/freezer to let it set completely.

This is the final result. Put this treasure in a box to store it :)

It doesn't take long to finish...

Warning: These are fattening and addictive.

Very easy to make. There is no baking! Just melting mixing and solidifying. Would like to see you girls sharing your secret recipes too!
