Good Luck

I hope you have all had a great vacation :)
Wish each and every one of you the best in her studies at university this year.
May Allah make it easy for you and give you the best.

It would be nice for you to share for me on this blog how the prep year has helped you to prepare for university life. Also, please post your advice for the new prep year students so that they can learn from your experience. You can do this in the comments section. Your success is a great example for them :)

Oooh teacher we miss you alot, and prep year was greate.
I think that the most important thing in the prep year is to learn English as much as the student can, other subjects depends on it.

Alsalamu Alaykum ............. I hope you have all had a great vacation too ;)
Last year was long and tired for all of us and we were thinking it was wasting time.
It was really funny , though .
This year I am on Languages and Translating department , some of my classmates didn't join the prep year .They are finding some difficulties at their first semester.
Now I can see how the prep year was beneficial for all of us. It was a good opportunity to have a strong foundation . I had wonderful classmates and teachers , Alhamdolillah . Now I think it wasn't wasting my time:)
Prep year is a good chance for students to learn English in an interesting way . Like Sundus said it is very important to learn as much as you can, be patient because learning a language isn't that easy and enjoy every single moment at the prep year because it is really interesting .

Wa alaykum salaam Arwah
Long time no see!
Thank you for your comments. This year, the humanities students are not taking the prep year as their main courses are taught in Arabic any way. However, for your course in particular, I can see why you now find that the prep year gives you a better and stronger start to your studies. All the best and keep in touch!

Asslamo Alaikum Jame'aan. First of all, I apologize for dropping in!! ^_^ But I felt that I need to comment. I'm a student at Languages and Translation Unit, didn't study Prep Year, and finding difficulties for sure, mostly in Grammar. Still that won't stop me from learning! I got to concur my fear and jump to the life, lift the rocks that block my way and keep moving and moving until I reach to what I want. So.. OK, I guess that's pretty much it!! By the way I know Arwaa, she's my new friend now.^_^
